About Oria Press
Oria Press is a micropress founded in June 2025 by Sill Bihagia. While the long-term intent is to publish other great books in fantasy, sci-fi, and romantasy, it’s best that Sill make a few marketing and distribution mistakes on their own books first.

In the immediate future, Oria Press will focus on publishing Red Demon in August 2025 and launching a pop-up bookstore at fairs, markets, and other events across Maryland. We (a royal we for now) hope to help promote other indie writers whose work aligns with Oria Press’s values.

What are those values?
-
Human-written work with soul intact — No generative AI used to create prose. Authors published or promoted by Oria Press must also avoid AI-generated covers or illustrations and use human voices for associated audiobooks.
-
High-quality storycraft — Fiction that challenges readers to think as well as feel. Craft that burns, and heals.
-
Empathetic literature — Books that celebrate gender equality, LGBTIA+ inclusivity, diversity, and in all other ways are non-dickish and respectful. It’s rough out there. Oria Press promotes stories that affirm empathy and understanding.
-
Professionally edited work — While not every indie title is professionally edited, the books Oria Press publishes or features at our pop-up will be indistinguishable in quality from those you'd expect from a major traditional press.

Coming Aug 19, 2025
RED DEMON
Red Demon will be available through both Ingram Spark and KDP in ebook, paperback, and hardcover. I'll be working to get this into as many independent bookstores as I can: at least those in Maryland.
It will also be sold on Indie Reads, a collective that supports the growth of independent publishers and offers *much* higher royalty rates than major retailers. This is better for readers too. My intent is that any physical books sold through Indie Reads will be shipped with painted edges, for the same retail price as major online retailers.
Bookstores and reviewers may request an advanced reader copy prior to release. Ebook ARCs release date is June 16, 2025, and physical copies will ship in early July.
Audiobook production is currently scheduled to begin in March '26 with High Gravity Productions, narrated by Brandon Francis and Cassandra Trieu.
ISBN:
